Adult League Info/Rules
Adult league is players that have reached their 18th birthday. It is a coed league so let’s respect our females and make sure of playing time.
The cost will be $100 each, for Fall league. Registration is online. !!!NEW!! We will be playing all games on Friday and 12 weeks long.
Registration starts the month of August 2017. Anytime after that there will be a late registration fee of $10
We are looking to start in mid September or October. More info below…
Location: Games will be at JC Handly
*NOTE: Game days or times are subject to change due to weather and/or any unforeseen reasons.
Game Times: Games will be Friday evenings between 6pm-9pm
Game Size: 8 v 8 with ggoalkeeper
Field Size: Approx. 75 yards long x 50 yards wide (U12 size field)
Squad Size: Maximum of 15 rostered players per team, no minimum women on roster; however, there has to be at least one woman on the field at all times.
Duration: 2 halves – 30 minutes each, 5 minute half time. Extra water breaks at ref discretion.
Goal Size: 6’x18’ (U12), unless arranged by BAYSL due to field maintenance
Ball Size: Size 5
*All field lines are permanent field markings
*No players will be considered offside during play. No cherry picking inside the 6 yard area
*Slide tackle is not allowed. All players must remain on their feet during play
*Any registered adult league player may guest play for other teams. Opposing team must be notified. Subs,
up to amount of rostered players. EX: 12player team and two don’t show, you may pick up two guest players.
*Conform to FIFA rules with the exception that all FOULS shall result in an indirect FREE kick.
Penalty kick, Throw in, Goal kick & Corner kick shall conform to FIFA rules (these are not fouls)
*Substitutions may be “on the fly”, nearer to the center line, without permission of the ref, except in the case of
goal keeper change.
*When a team leads by 3 goals, opponent may add an extra player or lead team removes a player. (losing teams choice) Extra player remains until goal differential is LESS than 3.
*West Florida Flames reserves the right to change rules during season. Written notice by email will be provided
This is a recreational, FUN league! Players will remain courteous at all times . Disagreements are to be resolved by the referee and the decision is final. Players that are a continuous disruption will be asked to leave the game and possibly the league. No refunds. Same rules apply to SPECTATORS.
To register: each player must complete registration online and make payment online during registration dates.
You may register as an individual or part of a team. If registering with a team, make sure to note in memos section of the registration.

NO ILLEGAL PLAYERS. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF ALL PLAYERS TO MAKE SURE SUBS ARE REGISTERED WITH ANOTHER TEAM.
