The West Florida Flames Adult league is a coed league for players 18 years and up.
The registration fee is $110 per season and includes 8 games plus a team jersey. All games will be played on Friday nights.
League is scheduled to begin October 30th. Due to Covid we have a very short registration window.
Any registration after October 23rd will include a late fee of $25.
Location: Games will be at JC Handly fields.
*NOTE: Game days or times are subject to change due to weather and/or any unforeseen reasons.
Game Times: Games will be Friday evenings between 6pm-9pm.
Game Size: 8 v 8 with goalie, alter amount of players if needed.
Field Size: Approx. 75 yards long x 50 yards wide (U12 size field).
Squad Size: Maximum of 15 rostered players per team, no minimum women on roster.
Duration: 2 halves – 30 minutes each, 5 minute half time. Extra water breaks at the referee’s discretion.
Goal Size: 6’x18’ (U12), unless arranged by West Florida Flames due to field maintenance.
Ball Size: Size 5.
*All field lines are permanent field markings.
*No players will be considered offside during play. No cherry picking inside the 6 yard area.
*Slide tackle is not allowed unless no other players are around from either team. Ex: keeping ball in play. All players must remain on their feet during play.
*Any registered adult league player may guest play for another team. Opposing team must be notified. Subs/Guests are allowed up to the number of rostered players. EX: 12 player team and two no-shows, you may pick up two guest players.
*Conform to FIFA rules with the exception that all FOULS shall result in an indirect FREE kick. Penalty kick, Throw in, Goal kick & Corner kick shall conform to FIFA rules.
*Substitutions may be “on the fly”, nearer to the center line, without permission of the referee, except in the case of goal keeper change.
*When a team leads by 3 goals, opponent may add an extra player or lead team will remove a player (losing teams choice). Extra player remains until goal differential is LESS than 3.
*West Florida Flames reserves the right to change rules during season. Written notice by email will be provided
This is a recreational, FUN league! Players will remain courteous at all times. Disagreements are to be resolved by the referee and the decision is final. Players that are a continuous disruption will be asked to leave the game and possibly the league. No refunds. Same rules apply to SPECTATORS.
To register: each player must complete registration online and make payment online during registration dates. You may register as an individual or part of a team. If registering with a team, make sure to note in memos section of the registration.

ALL PLAYERS WILL BE REGISTERED AND PAID UP BEFORE BEING ALLOWED TO PLAY. NO ILLEGAL PLAYERS. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF ALL PLAYERS TO MAKE SURE SUBS ARE REGISTERED WITH ANOTHER TEAM.
