The GYSA League offers recreational soccer for boys and girls competing against local teams throughout FYSA Region C.

Season overview

Preseason: Begins the week of September 7, 2026 and runs for six weeks
Fall season: Games begin November 7, 2026
GYSA Cup: Late February or early March
Spring season: Begins in early March

Home games are played at East Lake Sports Complex. Teams typically train once or twice per week between 6:00–7:30 PM or 7:30–9:00 PM. Training days and times will be confirmed by each team.

Pre-GYSA only: $192.50
GYSA only: $356.60

Bundle options:

Preseason and Fall GYSA: $496.19
Fall and Spring GYSA: $437.01
Preseason, Fall and Spring GYSA: $600.64

Uniforms are not included and cost approximately $65.

Uniform information

Players wear the official Adidas West Florida Flames uniform. After registration, families will receive an ordering link, and uniforms will be shipped directly to their homes.

Players who purchased an Adidas uniform last season may continue using the same kit. Uniform numbers are assigned automatically and cannot be selected.

Game formats

U11–U12: 9v9, 60-minute games
U13–U15: 11v11, 70-minute games
U16–U18: 11v11, 80-minute games
U19: 11v11, 90-minute games

Required equipment

U11–U12: Size 4 soccer ball
U13–U19: Size 5 soccer ball
All players: Soccer socks, shin guards and cleats

Volunteer coaches needed

Volunteer coaches play an important role in our recreational program. Coaches registering their own children should contact Jamie Sullivan for a registration code before completing registration.
